BENEDICT CANYON

With beautiful canyon views, this home was transformed from a dated country cottage to a chic, modern retreat for a single gentleman. We gutted the kitchen and removed part of the fireplace wall to create an open plan that now accommodates a large island with room for bar stool seating. The kitchen’s deep teal cabinetry was inspired by the abundant greenery outside and we carried variations of the color throughout several rooms in the home. A dramatic stone fireplace, wide plank flooring, contemporary windows and a newly built deck continue to bring the outside in. The primary bathroom is clad in a bold geometric matte glass tile in teal with gray stone flooring and a freestanding tub. The main bedroom has an adjacent office space, customized closets and an outdoor patio. The powder room is wrapped in a chunky turquoise grasscloth with a custom vanity. A large family room, guest bathroom and two guest rooms are downstairs.
