MID-CENTURY MODERN

This remodel project began with the client’s request to refinish their kitchen cabinetry and install a new range, and it grew from there to include both bathrooms and the primary bedroom. The mid-century style of the home dictated our design choices with a unique textured tile in the primary bathroom in rich, warm tones and a custom floating vanity. The large scale tile flooring was carried from the bedroom into the bathroom and shower. In the guest bathroom, a matte glass tile in a vibrant turquoise chevron pattern was used in the shower and on the backsplash above the floating vanity. Countertops are a clean white quartz that nods to the period but also reflects today’s modern lifestyle. Mid-century modern style pendants flank both sides of the round mirror, very much in keeping with the style of the house.
